Infected Munny

Costumised 7" Munny. Inspired by the Song "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed. One of my favourite bands. The paint doesn't look authentic on these photos.
I miss my airbrush equipment at som points f my life. One of it was this. The Munny would look so much better.

Swamp Raven

Acrylic on canvas, 50x50cm
I've got an older unfinished painting. There's a little raven in the corner. I'm not satisfied with the picture, but I really like the wee raven. I still have an empty space on my wall, and non of my paintings fit in this spot. So I decided to give this little raven his own painting.
I think I will paint more funny animals like him for sale.

Rusty 2.0 looking for a new home

This is Rusty!
Rusty is a little Munny robot. Me and a friend of mine built a robot as kids. I always loved robots, they are somehow fascinating.
As a Munny addict, I had to make another robot.
Some people asked me howmuch it would cost to buy Rusty. But Rusty is not for sale.
Well, Rusty and I decided to make a brother for him. He's looking for a cozy new home.
Now here he is:

Rusty with his brother Rusty II.
Do you see the difference? Well there are actually a few. First of all. Rusty II is a 2.0 versin of Rusty. He's more accurately processed with more details. You just learn from your prototypes. He has also a longer hose to move his head. A blue tank on his back (Rusty's tank is red). And most important a much more authentic rust effect finish! He's 7" tall and comes with the original Munny box!

I'm not sure where I will sell him: on ebay or etsy. If you're interested to buy him feel free to contact me! Still not sure about the pricing, cause the post charges are tremendous. But I guess around 140$ but will cut a part of the p&p. Or I'll sell it to the highest offer. We'll see. I'm open for any fair offer. I do not replay to spam or unreal prices! raven.mackay[at]gmail.com

Rusty II (or 2.0) for sale!

Marvin

Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

He's so adorable. I had to make him. He reminds me sometimes of my dog.
"Freeze? I'm a robot. I'm not a refrigerator."
"Life? Don't talk to me about life!"
"It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level."

Samael - Demon Munny

4-Inch mini Munny customised

Samael the demon Munny.
Samael: he's the angel of death; the prince of the demons. Samael means blind god. Jewish. An important archangel in Talmudic.
I had the idea to make a devil/demon Munny after playing Tekken Tournament II and having a lot fun playing the Devil Jin.

Rusty

This is "Rusty". Another customised Munny.
I love robots ever since I can remember. We used to build one in our childhood. It was actually ready but we had problems with the mechanics and electronics. It didn't worked. :)
How ever. I still love robots and of course Steampunk.

No-Eye-People Page

It was about time to create a No-Eye-People portfolio and Facebook page. This is one of my project that had take time. But at least, here it is!
I'm drawing funny and creepy snails, mushrooms and sometimes people and other things since I was a child. I doodle while I'm on the phone, when I was sitting in a classroom, actually everywhere and anywhere. People seem to love my doodles. I started to show them in publc just not very long ago. And the public loves them too. So I decided to make something off of it. I will also make a short animation film and many many more things.
Here's my latest creation. I just went into this comic book shop and found these little creatures. That's just perfect. I love things to costumise. I always did! He has no name yet, bu I hope he'll get one soon.

Here's the LINK to the manufacturer of these little creatures. Any requests are welcome to customise you a No-Eye or other (for example Steampunk) -creature.

But here we go to the new No-Eye-People page and Facebok page. Don't forget to "like" them!

Rescources and other stuff

It's been a while since I've been doing some Photoshop brushes and other resources. It was about time. I've got so much material to edit, create and upload. I just don't have the time and the space for the moment.
Here are just my latest works. Resources as always to be download at deviantArt. The stamps were only a try, for deviantArt, too. But I think they just turned out pretty good so far.
I start to like dA-stamps.
I'll make some more brushes, textures etc. Just check out my deviantArt account some time.

as known as raVen MacKay

I made a gig mistake almost four years ago.
I called my first website (in 2001) Raven's Nest. I kept that name until February 2011 for my webpage. And I also took Ravens-Nest for my DeviantArt account. THAT was the big mistake. People know me as raven MacKay since now almost 25 years. Everyone asked me why I haven't a DA-account.
Well I have a DA account since August 2008. i was wondering years before if I should open a DA-account or not.
Anyway. Long story short.
DeviantArt has decided that all premium members can change their nicknames or alias at DeviantArt.
I think I am most happy about that. People will find me by google or how ever.
Click on the DA-book to visit my DeviantArt page.

Who's Master's Voice?

I made a big childhood dream come true and bought me a His Master's Voice gramophone. I know it is a copy from India. But some people have not much money, and 100$ are a great price! At least this was already in that vintage shop when I was a child in the 80's. Must be a few decades old.
Well, I tried to adjust the HMV logo with my dog, but how can someone sit and watch at the same time?

First try.

Well, almost.

Various raVen Logos

As many people know, I'm a huge Steampunk fan. I wondered lately why I haven't designed my logo in Steampunk style. Well, the answere is easy. I use a lot Steampuk, grunge and trashy brown backgrounds. Blue just shine out of all this yellow/browne. But what if there's an other background?
Here's my latest design or variation of my logo:

Original - blue version:

Which one do you like most? I like them both!

Timeline Cover

I still hate facebook. :) This is my timeline banner:

A bit megalomaniacal... Now I just need a super-hero costume and I'm ready to save the world.

And here's the animated gif version:

Wreck This Journal

This is my latest art-challenge.
I'm always looking for interesting blogs.Yesterday I was looking for some interesting art blogs, and a german blog aroused my interest. It was about a book "written" by Keri Smith. It's actually an almost empty book with some instuctions. I've been looking at the gallery and thought: "I need that book." It's very creative, you can express all your emotions and it's just fun. Every book is unique by the end. So here's my wrecked book and it's incurrence...

Johnny Cash cup

Made for a friend customer. It's not that easy to paint on a cup as I've noticed.
